No pictures as of yet, but i finally sold my fiberglass enclosure that I had.

Now im gonna be runnning 1 Kicker 15" L7 and Kicker ZX750.1. That should be more than enough for the xB since the L7 has the same surface area of a 18" round sub.

if i were you i wouldnt power a L7 15" with only a ZX750.1 . You would be under powering it A LOT! L7s are power hungry and can take a big beating.... i would run something that pushes like 1500 watts like the ZX1500.1 .

nope, L7 are spec'ed at 1000w rms. zx750 is 750w rms

not underpowered by a long shot...

and I have my little Kicker certificate that says my amp actually puts out 886w rms @ 2ohms anyways...

Honestly, a 250 watt difference (from 750 to 1000) with that 15L7 will be practically negligible... now stepping from a 750 to a 1500 would add a good improvement, but 750 on a 15L7 will sling it around just fine...

sorry bro but im not even close to wasting my money, you need to get some knowledge before you go around making claims.

and specs are specs, they are there for reference.

one thing i did learn though is most people on here, like you, are usually wrong... although I respect what Sci_tC_Guy says, because I know he's a knowledgable person from past experiences speaking with him.

so please dont try to come out high and mighty especially when your wrong.

NICE!!!!!!!
I am willing to bet, this is the most underestimated setup on this thread and probably one of the more lethal, especially for the wattage! All I can say is, OUCH!!

Well stated. Sometimes you just have to ignore others' comments and posts, no matter how ridiculous they may be. All you can do is post what you know, collect all the info you can, and sort out what's usable to you and what's not.

I can't speak for tC but what I think he meant was that the L715 isn't the world's most efficient sub and as such a small jump in power won't make a large difference. Mathematically he's right on the money. In theory doubling one's power would equate to a 3db increase. In the real world? Who knows? My buddy's Eclipse with 2 10's and 100 watts each went from 135 to 147 with 4 10's and 125 watts each. Mathematically it should have been 9db at most. Go figure.

thanks UV7...yeah i agree that 10 is louder then most pairs of 12's. it makes my roof bend noticably, and my windows are becoming unsealed. The way the JL sub box it made makes all the difference on how powerfull the sub is. It is also soo healy that i made my xb slouchabout 1 inch....about 100 pounds

Thanx

They are MA Audio HK12X2 12s, and I put in a MA HK-401SX, running at 1800 watts, the subs are 1200 RMS each.

I need to put a second amp, but funds are low right now.

We installed the HO 8w7 in an xB, with a 500/1 and it was unreal. I am seriously considering a 12w7 and 1000/1 in the wifey's xA, although i will probably just stick with the 10w7. it kills me to have an entire stereo store to choose from.... i have already built the whole system like 10 times, in my head....
