It's not true UV light. It's just describing the color of it. Your eyes cant see true ultraviolet light, like the kind that will fry your skin.

This should answer a few questions

Update, I just ordered some UV's for my sunfire. haha my profile has a link to my cardomain page, which has "H.I.D look" brand Eurolite installed. I will update and see if there is any difference.

Hmm, I'm still not sold on the UV. It sounds like a neat light
but the off color just doesn't look right to me.

I am eager to see the Luminics HyperWhite next to a
SilverStar to help me decide.

So how do these compare to Silverstars and not just any other aftermarket bulb, like Nokya or something? Don't flame, I'm just asking...

The package looks like any other $19.99 "H.I.D. look" bulb.

Can someone explain what technology these bulbs have that make them so great? I paid good money for my Silverstars. And I love 'em.

Thanks
