Hello all,
Well basically I have a 2 channel Alpine amp 30W x 2 which I am going to be using to amplify the front speakers in my Tc. I will be replacing the front speakers with a new Alpine component set and will use that amp only for the front component set. I will let the new rear speakers just be driven by the factory Head Unit.
Now my question is this: If I mount the amp behind the rear speakers can I use the rear speaker leads to feed into the speaker level input in the Alpine amp? I know about the different Hi/Lo converters, but I was wondering weather tapping into the rear speaker wires would affect the power going into them and in turn affect the sound.
thanks in advance,
Adam
