Has anybody played around with the wall idea??? but from what ive heard 2 12 hx2s of a 1000 watt RF amp is plenty bass....

What are you guys running for your elcetrical systems??? Ive heard that most wattage you can run before upgrades is like 200-350.... Alot of you guys are running 3-5 times that amount
Yeah.....that's what I'm looking at.........the 1500 @ 1ohm amp. Plus.....I think Mark said they underrate them......so its more in the area of 1600. Both subs are 4ohm DVCs.......so I've got each wired to 2 ohm. If I run the subs together in parallel......I'll have a 1 ohm load. Aahh.......the wonders of DVC.

And I haven't done any upgrades to my electrical. I've just got a 1 farad cap.

That amp wont push much over 1200wRMS.

Yea, they aren't very efficient, and sound like garbage doing it. The last competition I was in, last August, I cleared the whole Stock catagory... and im only in stock 2.

One of the guys I beat, had 2 - Zapco 4kW's and 2 - Solo-X 18's in professionally built slot vented boxes with SEVERAL Hawker 1700 drycells. and he only put up 150.1, I walked out that same day with a 150.9 on a stiff mic.

I run a single MA HK-4000D (one of the strongest amps on the market, 4778wRMS on the bench 13.8v) and a 03' Resonant Engineering HC18. Its all out of the cargo area of a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee, stock charging system... with spare tire still in tact. Tuned to 30hz too...

Sounds excellent too.

Hell if I know. All I know is the factory specs on them. I'm not into SPL......its kinda a pointless endeavor to me. Some people think its cool.........good for them. But I think it's stupid to add thousands of dollars worth of extra equipment to get an extra 1....2........3 dB. I want to listen to my system......not watch my doors flex.

As far as the hifonics amp only putting out 1200 watts RMS.........that sounds fine to me for an amp that's rated to 1500 watts peak. That should move my speakers better than my 950 watts peak amp.

Holy I must been sleeping too long and not notice the release of the SoloX... Damn shame it's > 1K for this thing...

Anyone know a place to get them for a REASONABLE price?

Heck, prolly still not worth 2 15" L7s.... Thats what I'm gonna pack into the tC hatch if I can... Run two 15" L7s through an Orion XTR Pro 2400....

I had a L7 4.3 cu ft port box in a WRX wagon with Rubicon 702... It pounded but I still wanted more bass... I can't wait to load up with 2 15s...

I didn't run, but I measured for you anyway. Yes those measurements would work. Width and Height you are fine on, but the deep will get a little close near the top of the seats but there will be enough room, it will probably sit up against the seat.

There ya have it.
