Subwoofer question
So i have 2 Infinity Kappa Perfect 12" subs in a ported box connected to an MTX thunder1500D amp. One of the subs are blown (amp fell on it a while back and busted it). The sub still works unless I turn it up kind of loud then it clips and all that. What I'm wondering is that are those subs capable of easily handling the amp in the box i have or should i think about getting 2 new subs instead of just replacing the 1?

If you were satisfied with the performance of the Subs before one had blown then just get one more to replace the defective sub and go on your merry way.
Replacing both subs with the same models seams to be a waste of time and money.
If you want to go with bigger subs then hold off. The output difference is going to be marginal at best. Although, sound quality will be gained from buying a better sounding sub.
I think you are going for boom. Get the one sub and try to blow both at one time.

well the reason why i ask is because i had blown one a while back and had to send in to have it replaced. but that was in a different car and in a different box. i wasn't planning on buying two new subs of the same models. i was wondering if i should buy different subs all together. I'm thinking I probably will just buy another one and hope I don't have anymore problems with them
