Sylvania Dot-it alternative
While browsing my favorite LED bulb sellers site I decided to look in the "Utility light" section.
Check this link and go to the bottom of the page http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...=8033710.26095
It's cheaper and has more LED's than the Dot-it and you can even get different bulb colors, I'm ____ed because I had to look everywhere for my Dot-it's. These guys are a great company btw, I've bought a lot of bulbs from them.
For you guys tht don't know these things work great for xB's due to the fact that our interior lighting is pretty bad. I stuck my dot-it on the base of the inside rear view mirror and I have one in the cargo area.

I actually ended up using gray automotive velcro on my dot-its since the SoCal heat made mine fall off when the cabin temperature got really high. I'm guessing these don't use the 3M reusable adhesive like the dot-its , but in my case that adhesive didn't really work that well anyway.

True about the adhesives... I think I'll order a few of these and pick up Velcro tape at a local shop as well. Velcro will be nice since these Dot-It type lights work great as handheld flashlights when needed. I'll try to get a pic into this thread if I pick one up.
