Im sure they can the wires are not that thin .

Dude, it's your car so you can do what you want.

But lets look at this.

Luminics bulbs are 55w, these bulbs have melted not only the wires but the sockets on more than 2 TC's.

You are using bulbs that are not 4w more but 29w and 40w.

Do you want to risk a $17k car for the sake of brighter headlights ? Or would you rather spend an additional $10 and upgrade your harness to be able to handle those wattages.

check summit racing they sell a headlight up grade kit but i thinkyou have to do some mods to the the sockets on the harness

sounds hard
and im not to good with modding stuff.

I kept the lights on with my hood open for a while to c how hot the wires got.

they did not get very hot at all.

so i dont know but man these things look so nice and blue ~

THEY dont look half as good as the bulbs i have in now you have no idea How nice these look.

LOl damn... i mean i check my wires every day they seem fine. I only use them for a short time at night.. I mean the wires all of a sudden arent just going to get super hot out of nowhere. Idn correct me if im wrong..

Okay here goes. I don't have silverstars. What I got was stock, stock vs. gp 7500k, and gp 7500k vs. gp 8500k. These are all under the same lighting, no flash, no editting other than re-sizing.

I don't recommend the 8500k for headlights. They're great for the fogs. I tried driving around tonight with each one. I found the stocks a little dull. The 7500's were brightest. The 8500's were too blue, and they trail off in the distance.

Okay, so in each test, there's an in dash shot and a shot outside the door.
