Too much tweeter?
I bought 2 sets of Inifinity 2 way speakers w/ adjustable tweeter.... for the front and back. Now i'm starting to wonder if I should of gotten the front component speakers. Will these speakers coupled with the stock tweeters be far too much highs? Im thinking about returning the fronts and getting rockford components. Im also gonna install a sub so I know i'll have enough lows. Thanks

CAREFUL WITH INFINITY SPEAKERS
I just completed my speaker upgrade. I will post that somewhere else.
But if you are driving your speakers with Stock head unit 140W tot pow, or even Ipod ready upgrade Head unit 160W tot pow. You will not get quite the sound you want with 2 Ohm speakers such as Infinity.
Especially from the front.
Stock front channel consists of 4 Ohm door speakers and 13 Ohm dash speakers run in parallel, this means your stock head unit sees approx 3 Ohm load.
So if you add a 2 Ohm speaker such as Infinty and keep stock tweeter in dash you will get about 1.7 Ohm load for the amp.
And as the resistance load drops your amp works harder and the sound will be thinner or less bass present.
So unless you run a good AMP I would not recommend low impedance speakers such as Infinity.
Peace

If you have more than two tweeters its 100% dependent on the way its setup if its gonna sound good

Multiple tweeters, if done correctly can sound good. however you would need sufficient midbass to back it up as well as seperate power controls to get it to work properly.
I would suggest you get a decent amplifier, a nice set of front components and a sub, don't get rear speakers until you run out of things to do with your money...

^^^ more sources of the music = more erratic imaging and staging = too much effort to get multiple speaker systems to sound accurate... I highlight accurate because not everyone likes accurate sound..
