Underglows will make your car look like a radioactive ricecake! or Vegas on wheels JMO! Anyway. LEOs dont like to see any other lights on your car other than what's on the nose and the tail.

Well. . . i thought them to be a bit ricy, but i still installed underbody lights on my car (varad scanning led's) and turns out i really like them. I mean, there will be people that dont like it, but that comes with anything you do. I say if you put em on, youll like them. And im sure people would change their minds if they saw it. Like i said, i thought it was a bit too much rice, but i really like them. not too many cars out here have em. but maybe its just because here, its hillbilly town.

I know you didnt ask for it, but heres a pic of my car with the lights. Its a little different because they are LED's, but the lighting patterns make up for it.

Ever been to custom car shows? Lights all over the place...on $100,000 cars. If you like them, put them on. They look sweet at night and I assure you people will notice. IMO, it only looks like a carnival when they do the 1000 color ones. Pick a color theme and stick with it.

Had ours on for 6 months and no problems with police yet. 2 weeks ago, we ran them down the main drag with 3 other glowing cars (friends) just crusin and within 20 minutes, there were 15 cars following all glowing. We knew none of them. Ended up pulling into a lot and having a meet showing rides. Safety in numbers I guess

yes they may be 'ricey' but i personally like em on my car. and as they say 'to each their own' so do whatever you think is cool.

kAhAkAi.... why do you care really?

no offense but im just curious. if you like the lights, go with them. if you're undecided about brand, i can see asking which one is best (which has already been covered).

if you like the lights go with them, who cares if someone a thousand miles away doesnt like them. its your car.

i myself dont find them to be "ricey". if you like it go with it.

I think these pictures of the the car that i owned prior to my tC will answer your question:

I personally like neons. And believe me, they will definitely get your car noticed by everyone, including cops. But that never kept me from installing them. Just as long as your smart about when you turn them on, you shouldn't have problems with the police...

Edit: i don't know why the images aren't showing, probably the site that they're hosted at...

Not a very good photo, but I used to think the "disco lights" were stupid. Now I'm
very happy with them, and I constantly get compliments on them!

Not the best picture, sorry, I was in a hurry.

All depends on what look your going for. Cuz I'm trying to keep it clean and not go too far to making it a rice rocket, but I too am planning to get some lights down there, actually I'm planning to get the impulse ones that go with the music, and of course your not keeping them on all night......right?
Only in those certain areas, or if you see a couple of chickadee's on the street.
But I say do it
