vent/hole opening near the rear speakers?
is there a reason why this is here? is this a heating duct or something?
i'm just woundering because it's interfering with my fiberglass design if it is a heating duct...

If you dig deeper you will also see that is where the presure is released when you slam the doors,Or alot of bass.
Behind the rear bumper cover there is rubber flaps that releve presure.
I would not cover them perminent as you need access there for changing tail light bulbs.

i will take that into concideration.
a friend of mine and i are planning on partenering up for business soon. running a gas station with an auto shop aswell and at the same time i will be head of the audio center. i've been comming up with designs that are like a "bolt in place" settup all in fiberglass. this is for exactly that reason, so that you may access areas needed for repair or placing a part. this all while still keeping the settup lookign clean and matching with the interior.
the idea is to help supply diffrent premade settups for all type of vehicles from huge systems to systems that are nice and powerful and sound great while not taking alot of room.
i'm still working on a scetch of what i'm planning to do. i will post pics as soon as i'm able to find a good scanner. i have a feeling you'll all love it.

They're also part and parcel of the flow-thru ventilation system, along with the mentioned vents and flaps. When the climate control is set to flow-thru, air has to go out the back in order for fresh air to come in the front...
So you'll want to account for that, somehow, particularly with a commercial product...
