That looks amazing. I painted my other xB's pillers and wasn't 100% happy with the results. These look amazing.

I WAS going to do the headliner the same color, but now I like the contrast, so I think I'm going to keep it as is for now... either way, it looks killer.

looks pretty good. I had thought of doing this but with the dupont stuff that goes in a paint gun. I wondered how the spray bomb stuf would work.

I used the vht stuff and on the hard plastic pieces it will flake/scratch off . I painted mine to later wrap the pillars. my visors have remained painted/dyed

I wonder if there's a way to make the warning label less obvious.
It's definitely better, but I'd rather it be more uniform.

Randode has the labels that cover the airbag warnings on the visors...he's also go the ones for the seat backs...

Actually it was vinyl dye. It's readily available through my car audio distributors as I used it all the time when I owned a shop. We used it to colormatch kickpanels, painting anything plastic, etc. The advantage it had was that no primer was needed, but it can and does come off.
Then it just wasn't a material that the vinyl dye can soak into - you should always test it first. if you use it on a material that it will soak into, it will NOT come off.

I know that... but if you look at the above picture, after it has been dyed, there's still the outline of the warning label... I don't know if that's just the way the camera caught it, or if it's really that obvious in person.

Also, are you guys using the black dye? Or is it a grey to get the colormatch?

All this talk about sunvisors reminds me I still need a new drivers side visor because mine has permanent wrinkles in it due to a stupid CD holder. Anyone have an extra one laying around they want to sell?
