HUH? there is an ECU controlled valve to feed oil to the cam timing adjusting gear to advance, retard and hold the timing.

.... so ya... still think you should rig up a shift light to light up
a secondary set of led's in the gauge... (didnt mean to repeat myself, but I want to get this back on track)

Right it doesn't kick in it just varies as needed so you could watch the control valve blink an LED as it advances and retards timing but there isn't any direct measurment that is available unless you can "talk" to the ECU with the new ScanGauge and get a reading off it that way.

well, i guess it would be a shiftlight behind the gauge face


but its not gonna be a separate light, it'll be a color change from white to red once it reaches a point between 6k and 6,5k


sounds simple, but is probably gonna be difficult...


i suppose i'll contact LEDmod and see what they say
