Default WANT TO INSTALL TV'S IN MY XB...BUT.........

I want to install 7" tvs in my headrest in my car. I'm looking on this website and they have a set of twin 7" tv dvd players for $199. it can be mounted or use as portable. Is that a good price? Let me know. Thanks

I've installed a few 7" monitors in the xb. I would say that is the absolute limit. It barely fits.

Here is a pic of one install (Click on the picture for a full size image).

I did 7" in mine too, but the leather covers made them a little bigger so they fit better.

I also moved the back to the front because they are a little bigger.

Looks good! I did the same thing on that xb with the leather interior, although, I left the headrest the right way, but turned the leather cover around (front is bigger).

I did install headrests on an xb with the stock cloth interior, and it looks good, but it was a bit of a struggle to make it look good.

^ thanks, I didn't want to try with the smaller headrest and found that if you squeeze or pull the headrest supports they will fit in either one. I also like that it's a tight fit and the kids can't move them around anymore, lol.

sounds to me like this set you're looking at is a 'strap on' type. If you are simply looking for functionality over form, this is a great way to go. It's not a bad price.

if you're actually looking to install the monitors in the headrests for some added bling factor, check out www.gooddeals18.com, they've got 5.8" pyles for about 75 each.

just always remember though, there is good deals, and then there is getting what you pay for.. and in my experience pyles have always turned out to be piles...
