Figured out a mod to make these work with our XB's:D

First I bought these:

After a little grinding down the outsides of them to reduce the diameter they were able to fit inside the South Yokohama-Corp ***** covers.

Now that the modded ***** fit inside the covers they were secured with a supplied set screw, and can be used on the USDM XB's

kinda pricey....about $120 when everything was said and done. Buying the original part, shipping, and then buying the second **** set.

Use http://www.google.com/translate_t to translate the page

Then go to http://www.wheelchoice.com and they'll bid/ship it to you. Just follow the instructions on the page. It's super easy, and their customer service kills it

That radio is pretty hot!!! Another option is to get them metalized (chrome plating for plastics). I think most companies have a $25 minimum on orders.

my shop makes custom ***** for most gmc and ford trucks . but since i got my xb we've been thinking about makeing custom ***** for it . only problem is we dont know about the total demand for them . developing them for just a few cars isnt very economical. so let me know if ur interested. i think the price for a set of three standard ***** (designes we've already made) would b around $50 at most . my shop can do most anything as long as we have a good concept drawing, but for anything extreem it will be pricey. all ***** have either a polished finnish or powder coats.

If you do make ***** dont forget that the xA,xB and the Echo all use the same ****.
That should give you lots of people to buy them.

When you're painting the *****, how are you masking the translucent section? Or will the light get through the paint (i'd imagine you'd have to mask when using a dark color).

Not to tread jack but are there any options for different controller indicators on the xb. What im trying to say is im looking for the rings around the controller ****, the ones that indicate the temperature of the air the off I II III hi and the ring that indicates the direction of the air: feet, defrost, etc. Thanks. Here is a picture of what im talking about, the polished pieces around the *****.
