5.25 for all the doors, however, you can use a spacer to get a 6.50 in there you would just need to know the depth of the speaker so you don't run into an issue with the magnets hitting the windows in the door.

6 and ½ will fit in the rear, and the doors; you do have to get a spacer for the doors, and if you go that large for the rear, they will mount 'through', not under the grill.

The dash is...shoot. I am now drawing a blank...hold on...
Here you go...this is what I have in mine: Pioneer TS-A1681R 4-Way Speakers, (rear and front), Pioneer TS-G1040R 2 Way Speakers with Bass Reducers, dash.

Here is a pic of the rears.

Hope that helps.

These Pioneer TS-G1040R 4" speakers drop in the dash. All you have to do is bend two of the mounting tabs over or break them off. Here are some pics.

If you get some Scosche SAT6 speaker spacers, 6.5" speakers will fit in the front doors. The rear speakers are 5.25" but 6.5" speakers will fit if you cut a hole in the side panel where the speaker is and mount them on the outside of the side panels.

I'm getting ready to add the 6.5" speakers and power all of them with a 4 channel amp mounted under the front seat.

This setup is recommended by TJ and Boxcarwillie.

The dash grill cover pops out carefully with a screwdriver. Cover the tip with tape or a T-Shirt to keep from marking the dash or grill. The door panel has to come off to gain access to the speakers. Haven't done this yet, but there are 3 screws to remove then carefully remove the door panel. Also, door and rear speakers are riveted on and must be drilled out.

The dash pops right off, but I do not believe the door grills pop off....

These Pioneer speakers are made to do this. Others might not be and would require you to cut the mounting tabs off with a Dremel or something. Otherwise, any 4" should work.

Yes. The doors have I think three screws. I may be wrong and it's two screws. But no more the three. After you take the screws out, you have to pry up the door panel; just be careful, so as to not do something stupid like crack it or something. It's easy, really. And don't forget the spacers. You get them at BEST BUY. Like about $10 or so.

I'm not sure. I think they can be any 4 inch. I just know that the PIONEER fit in so nice, with no major hassle. I wish I had the measurement specs, but I don't. I'm sure that the PIONEER site would have them.

Hope that helps.

Uh, no. I have done this; and they are simply screwed in. Unless the 05 (which is mine) is different from the 04.
The rear ones do require a bunch of removal of stuff, like the seats and all. It's a lot of work.

They are. But you can fit the 6.5 in there; they just don't go under the grill. You have to go through the grill. Remove the grill in other words.

It's a matter of cutting. And being careful. That sort of thing.

Not much. Something in the area of less then $300.00 for the whole deal, rear, doors, dash.

But great sound can be bought for cheap prices today.

I have the same model pioneer's sort of
ts-g1040 4" dash speakers , for 16.50 shipped ( ebay surplus )
over size ( correct ) pioneer 4 way 6.75 ts-a**** 32.00 shipped ( ebay surplus )
and 5.25 2 way pioneer ts-g series 16.00 shipped ( ebay surplus )

All were BRAND NEW but in slightly messed up packaging and missing instructions and speaker wire.
but.... for all 6 interior speakers at less than $$65.00!!!!!!!!!!

I'm running all these off my pioneer deh 7600 deck , and then I have older pioneer 10" impp subs in underseat boxes , powered by a pioneer gm-x862 760 watt amp for the subs.
If you can't tell I LOVE pioneer. my next addition will be either another pio 10 inch sub in the new scosche box , or a custom rear false floor/integrated hidden sub /sub box and a pio 12"
