What is up with the xB Power Antenna?
I just put a HD tuner into my xB and the radio reception got a little better but still fuzzy...are there any Antenna upgrades out there?

Are you powering the built-in antenna amplifier with your head unit? If not, that may be your problem.

Because of the rear glass mounted antenna on the xB,it requires an antenna amplifier. The amplifier requires 12 volts when you turn on your tuner. Most tuners have a lead with the correct output. You just need to connect the amplifier lead from your new deck to the black with red wire, pin 8,connector A, and it will work perfectly.Good luck.

Antenna Booster Q
For 2005 xB, I just need to connect the black with red wire, pin 8, connector A to the power antenna wire on the new head for the antenna booster to work?
