no, I was actually talking about the lever that you pull to open the door from the inside.

These tables are nice but.. are they SAFE?? what happens when the air bags deploy?? will the passenger get a face full of table?? Do anyone know about this???

well, I haven't really seen one for a tC, so the information below will relate to the xB tables.
first off, it's a show mod, imo. I don't think i'd subject a passenger to riding with one. The table sits in the cubby above the glovebox, and the airbag deploys above that, in the dash. The tables i've seen do not conflict with an airbag.
