Our local one is pretty smart, they have two screens facing tow different directions. They both run double features at the same time. This means, as a movie goer you have four movies to choose from. Or, two pairs of movies to choose from if you stay for both features. Last time I went, it was pretty busy and last time I drove by before a movie there were cars lined up for half a mile trying to get it. Pretty cool.
When I was a teenager I knew a guy that worked the consession stand.. that made it even better

It's too cold for me to go to a Drive In yet, though there is
one out here in the Chicago burbs. I hear they transmit the
sound for the movie through FM and you just dial it in on your
radio!! That alone is reason enough for me to get a sub!!
