Where would be a good place to put a xm antenna at? I have a small one and I dont want it to be to visible. Would it work if it was mounted on the inside of a xb?

 

Read the instructions carefully before you mount the antenna! You're dealing with microwaves and even the windshield glass could attenuate the signal.

The XM antennas I've seen on xBs were mounted at the rear corners of the roof. The wires run down and pass through the seal near the bottom of the door to prevent water entry.

I use the same route with amateur radio antennas. It works very well.

man, i always put 'em on the dashboard, unless the signal strenth is weak in certain cars.... our dashboard is so big and flat, too..... thats where i plan on putting mine when we get some more antennas in. i would put it in the front right corner of the dashboard, so it's least noticable.

 

I had my XM antenna on my dash for almost a year on my truck with no issues...I've yet to move the XM over to the box...
