Default XM and iPod

I already own a roady 2 from my previous car. i was cuirious if i would be able to hook them both up to my car without usint the FM modulators that i currently have. I was hoping there would be a way to use the PIE adapter along with the Monster iCruise or Densen I.C.e.

The I.C.e and the icrusie allow you to control the ipod with the stereo and i;m pretty sure they are comapatabl with the SCion HU but the Roady2 just has a line out jack. I was hoping there might be a way to splice the 2 to use the same port???? maybe with a switch? I know the iCruise and the I.C.e use the SAT connect on the HU as would the PIE adapter.

Soundgate makes an audio source swictcher which I use. Plug the XM and the Ipod into the switcher and the output goes to the PIE adapter. It comes with a switch to select the source.

That would work but that not exactly what i'm asking. I want to still be able to use the beneifts of the icruise/I.C.e (ie control of ipod through HU and text display) but also be able to connect the XM stictly as a sound source(which could easily be done with PIE).
