Default XM Radio Install Today... Pics.

I installed the XM in the box today.
Took 4 hours beginning to end, not rushing.
Disassembly took 50 minutes.
Reassembly wasn't bad, I did it to the book per the PDF file of TRDSparks webpage.
I fished the cable under the dash about 3 different times before I got it the way I liked it, running the antenna cable was no big deal.
I'm ****, so everthing was secure and torqed to spec.
The bracket mounts and tieing everything under the carpet was time consuming.
A few pics:

Mounting bracket and receiver:

These cars are so easy to work on, I also picked up my TYC tail lights today.
The special TRDSparks has on XM receivers is killer, I've had XM in my Silverado and haven't listened to anything else since.
If yoiu're thinking about XM, I'd go for it. It doesn't get any cheaper.
This little xB is turning into a little cruiser, waiting for the spring/stuts and foglight to come in and I'm set.
Then.... start looking at the drivetrain... :D

nice pics... mine will look like that in a few short weeks, bu with less interior. I've got the head unit, xm, coaxials front/rear, subs and amps to install. My box is schedule to be out of commission for a week to get it done.

I am going to miss my XM when I get my box. I am waiting for Terk to put their unit out in a couple of weeks.

Where does the antenna mount for the XM? I have Sirius and just am usiing the mag mount, stuck to the roof towards the back, but wish for a better location/arrangement.

dealer install location is on the right rear corner of the box roof.
