I would think the 225 is a little wide for stock wheels. A 205/55 would be about as wide as you would want to go and that may be stretching it some. There are two problems. One is the tire fitting the rim and the other is the fitment under the wheelwell. I have 38mm offset and it looks like I will need OTG shims for the rear. Maybe not, but it looks close.

Thanks TJ. That was what I wanted to hear. Installed TRD springs this weekend and now I think it will look better with the OTG shims on the rear. That should take care of any possible problem in the back and it is nice to know the front should be rub free.

I went with the 195/60/15 on a 15" aluminum rim, lowered with H Techs, and the ride and handeling is great. Speedo was checked with a GPS and was only 1mph slow, instead of 4mph as she comes from the factory.
