Default 1st gen xB brake life?

Starting off, I know this is a very subjective question. What are people's experiences on the life of the brake pads on a 1st gen xB? I drive fairly conservatively and try to be easy on the brakes. Thanks

I have about 34k on mine and haven't replaced em yet, even with the turbo and stopping from the hard rev ups and quick stops, haven't heard squealing yet, how many miles does yours have on it?

so many factors that can determine how long the brakes last, how aggressive you drive, how often your brake, how hard you brake, do you brake while carrying large loads, are you in stop and go traffic on a regular basis etc.

but your in montana, unless your in west montana, you have nither terrain or traffic to contend with.

I have almost 45,000 miles on my '05 xB and I'm just now getting down to the metal.

I'm looking to upgrade now.

mine lasted about 40-45k miles. That is constant driving and hauling car parts. I used it as a courier vehicle.

You must not have been modding enough My car knows I never have extra because it's already taking it all.

I bought new pads at 65,000 miles, but when i looked at them the original ones were still 50% left.
Still on the stock ones with an extra set in the tool box.

At 57,500 now and squealing now on my BCP 06'. Any one recommend any good replacement Pads. I usually buy top of the line anything. Especially for my first brand new car.

So i just got my brakes replaced and I'm at 44K. They told me my rears were ready to be replaced and my fronts were still like new. So I had them replace my rear brakes and ever since whenever I brake it sounds like I driving with my e-brake on. I'm taking it back to the shop tomorrow but what do you think it could be?
