i was reading that there was gonna be a step by step posted soon... i actually have a guy here at work that has installed air kits many a time, so i dont need to go to a shop per se, but i'd like to read up so i can jump in and help him out myself. You happen to know where the post is?

I did mine in stages. I built the valves, and installed them, ran the wires, gauge lines, and air lines. Then, a few days later, I mounted the tank, valves and compressor. Few nights after that, I installed the rear. Lastly, I installed the fronts. Note: all I had to do was swap in the struts as all the lines were ran. All total, I probably have 20 hours in it, but over 2 weeks. (Married, kids, full time job, etc.) I did all the work in the driveway after work. That way, I was never with out a vehicle the next day. ALso gave me time to chase air leaks...be prepared for that! I, by myself, would not have attempted to get it done in a weekend, too much for one person to do, and keep the install clean at the same time.

ps.: I do recommend buying the Monroe #5870 shocks for the back. I got that # from Phil (boxzilla). Napa has them for $29 each, autozone has them for $22 each. Either way...my trailing arm lays against the underside of the box now. I'm only 2" off the ground out back..nice and low...way lower than with factory shocks.

I cut my factory bumps stops in half and my rear fender lip was about 1/2" above the top of my 18" rim, when sitting on the bump stop. With the new shocks, I can tuck about 1-1/2" rim now. They ride equally as good or better than stock. When I let the air out, my rear trailing arm stops on the bottom of the underside of the body. I am happy with them, and do not hesitate to recommend them. I use the airlift co rear kit (sleeve bag).

Just be aware that you can bottom out, (with the shorter shocks), if you are rolling with the back end down too far, and you nail a bump.. I speak from experience. I wont go any less than 40psi in the back while driving now; whereas, with the stock shocks, I could ride around with it on the bumpstops if I wanted to...(crappy ride though..haha)

what are you running in the front,
i have the kit but i have not installed it yet , i have the sleeve bags for the rear and the airlift struts for the front, but im thinking about using 2 two gallon tanks with 2 compressors, what you think? also i want to mount underneath the car i wish some one would post a good picture of there undercar install so i could get a general idea of where to begin , iwant to do this install myself.
