yea i have koni sports on all four corners. They ride nice if you like to have a pretty aggressive ride. i keep them adjusted as firm as possible and have never tried the softer settings. They are good quality shocks though.

 

sorry, installation is a piece of pie. real easy switch if you have the proper tools (air tools make the job much faster). just remember to get an alignment afterward.

 

The Koni Yellow's were one of the best things I ever did to the xB. Rides a lot better and handles the corners better. The front had to be removed like when you're installing lowering springs, and the rears were so easy; the rear didn't need to be raised and the wheels didn't even have to come off.

 

Koni's are da BOMB!! As for the putting them full stiff, i would NOT recommend unless the streets where you live are perfectly flat. These shocks get ROUGH and im not exaggerating. When i go full stiff on my shocks and i hit the hairpin on the track you get the rear tire lifting up just a bit, which helps roll the car through the corner, which helps cornering A LOT!!

The only difficult part on installation is compressing the spring to fit it on the strut, besides that, stupid easy. If you need any help or any more information let us know.

the lowest price that I saw these online was at IRP , for the fronts they were $183.18 each, with complementary shipping included.

 

that is about as cheap as you will see them

 

I got the front struts for 80 dollars new and shipped on ebay.

They will bring the front down a little more. I wish they did not.....but they do.

 

did you get those recently... or a while back? I did a completed auction search for that, and nothing came up.

 

It was a while ago.

Actually, I had bought a pair of rear TRD shocks for 60 dollars shipped new.

Then I saw the complete set of KONI's.

I won the bid on the fronts. But the rear KONI's that the guy had were not getting bid on.

I even posted it on SL. No one was interested.

Finally, the guy sold them after his second listing.

If you just check ebay as a habit. you can save tons of money.

If I see good stuff cheap, I usually try to post it on SL.

Lately, got dirt cheap 2 GTSPEC braces, TRD rear sway bar.

Things that are such good deals, I can't pass them up.

OK these are not KONI's but a great example of what I was saying.

These are gonna go for a decent price. Konis are great but you can really only freely adjust the front ones....thats why I thought the Waydo/TRD's in the back would be hassle free.

I ran with the rear TRD's for a few months before I got the KONI's installed and to me the rears were vital after I put on the Vogtlands. The front KONI's were the icing and cherry on top.

I am getting some weird tire wear....... I think maybe also the fact I have them set very stiff is causing it...
