lololol ROFL ROLF FRAAAAAALLLL!!!!

if you drill it in the wrong spot it won't fit? ???? NO WAY!!! like, you couldn't just drill a hole in the headlight and it would fit???

heheh sorry, i'm a little off camber right now.. just found this a hilarious CAPTAIN OBVIOUS statement..
it does sound funny, but if you drill the hole 3/4" to far forward you cannot recover from this mistake easily.
you would have to weld in a patch and redrill farther back.

some people would think they can just 'open the hole up' and it would work....

Magicman, it will be very EASY to install this brace! nothing compared to the front sway bars!

2 bolts and that is it. hardest part will be jacking the car up and put it on jack stands.

anybody yet who has installed it perhaps prior to any other suspension mods so we can hear opinions on whether it is worthy of purchase...

guys! read the subject line...

you are going off-tangent..the post is regarding the **mid**chassis brace, not the Tanabe front chassis brace!

here's the answer, it's been here since november....

here's an answer from partshippers....

more to come
hope these answer your questions. this post has been dead for over a month....

as for this

what?

wow.

coilovers kill everything
then rear sway
front sway bar bushing
c pillar brace

are my must haves.

still waiting to install my trd rear brace.
the rear "strut" tower brace does nothing the front strut tower brace did little to nothing.

I dont have the gtspec bar i opted for the greddy one instead, pretty much the samething in my opinion. Very easy to install, looks nice & also matches the front bar i got from greddy.

So I emailed GTSpec and asked if they were planning a product to tie into their mid-chassis brace...and they replied no.

i tried installing the greddy rear arm bar, it looks like the gtspec mid chassis brace, but the damn bolt broke in half.

i would like to note also that when i looked under there it lookedl ike the dealership unbolted the stock brace on one side and pulled it to the side.

also would like to note that there are 3 pairs of holes for 12mm head size bolts lined up about 8 inches apart from each other. i'm gonna try installing it further back in the next pair of holes. i dont see how it does anything though with these puny little bolts doesnt look like it reinforces anything.
