Look dude no one said he was wrong about anything!
You are starting to get on my nerves.
I'm not into my door at all and thats with 20's! That's a pic that I found of some other dudes car. I desinged my setup just fine for a front wheel drive car. And on top of that I dident need to change my stock gas tank setup by doing mine the way that I did it.
So you can take your (properly) and stick it up your azz!
Fallow along RTon20s it really isn't all THAT complicated!!!!!!!!!!
lets see some of your work if your so noligable

looking good man
but a door that opens sideways ?
obviously not a engineer
the earths gravitational pulls is far more on the southeast
portion of the scions weight to custom fatassynis ratio that one would conclude that a reversed 4 link is not the bast option for dumping down and lookin cool
and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
hahahahahahah
tiff tiff
j/j j/k lol
come on its fat and everyone knows it
it all looks great and

I went on a bit of a rant there
On a pivot like a 4-link when the link is on a level line it's at it's longest point,
from there it would the move to its mounting point , with the 20's to keep it out of the door jamb I hade to do the reverse so the wheel would move away from the jamb.
With such little room under an xb there was not enough room for me to do a long 4-link,
so this was the best set up for my situation
Now look what you did here I am explaining myself to ya
and actually I am an engineer

Sorry that I got under your skin. That wasn't my intention.
But there are a lot of people on this site that don't have a clue. I am sure Randode and many others can attest to that.
As long as you are happy with your suspension, that is great for you. It doesn't change the fact that a rear facing 4 link works against the laws of physics.
And I'm not being a smart @ss when I ask... What kind of engineering degree do you have? What do you do for a living?
And I don't have any pictures of my own work. The last rear suspension that I actually designed was on a truck that I haven't seen in years. I can provide a picture of the link on my own truck though. It is a forward facing wishbone setup using Johnny joints with the bags mounted on the trailing arms. If you are interested in a pic, or two let me know.

Yeah, I've seen yours Wombat. There is no way I would by your box. Not that someone else shouldn't. Just saying it isn't the right xB for me. I would end up having more work to get the suspension how I wanted than I would if I started with a stock box.
Good luck selling your xB though.
