can anyone help me out?
i just bought some eibach springs from a fellow scionlife member... so i went to a few shops today to get a price quote of the installation.. 704 motorsport wanted to charge 400 dollars.. then when i said i had my own springs he said "oh, 300 dollars"
so im guessing he was gonna just cut the stock ones haha
pep boys (oh god) wanted to charge 520... ____ that..
meineke was reasonable at 240.. but still not what i want to pay..
so..
is there anyone in the charlotte area that would be willing to help me install these? i can pay you some money if wanted.. i have all the tools to do it.. just no one competent enough to help me.. and i would at least like to have someone that has done this before helping me, seeing how i have never tried it. i would feel more comfortable than installing them with a friend or my brother. haha

I can do this in 1 hr. Ive taken my car apart so many times, its not even funny... The only problem is I live a little far away from you. Just to let you know i get charged $35 for each spring at race shops and $45 each spring at local mechanic stores.

It's a lot easier than you might think. Post up in your regional forum, I'm sure someone can give you a hand. Don't pay to have them installed. It's not worth it. The last time I swapped my springs (back to stock for winter) my friend and I did the whole thing, start to finish in 25 minutes.

If you have the tools, a 1/2 rack of beers and the DIY thread on here is all you need. Another set of hands would be nice, but they don't need to be a suspension guru. Just to help get the fronts back up into position, the first time can be a little rough, but once you do it, it's cake the next time.

Here is the DIY:

I used this to change my springs by myself. I had never done it before. Just take your time and you will be able to do it, and will feel great accomplishment after completing it.
