Default eBay Springs???

i was looking on eBay and found a lot of lowering spring kits for under $100. what do you guys think about these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-05...spagenameZWDVW

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lower...spagenameZWDVW

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TENZO...spagenameZWDVW

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KSPOR...spagenameZWDVW

let me know what you guys think. I know people are gonna tell me to go buy the Goldline's or Tein or Tanabe's but if i can get a good quatlity set for a fraction of the cost of the good name brands then i think its a good deal.

There has been a lot of horror storys about springs on Ebay including fake Tein springs etc. Since a good set of springs is not overly expensive, I woud not risk it. Get them from a reputable dealer.

The second link is actually for the Megan lowering springs, which are decent for the price. But, if you want to ensure good quality, spend the extra $60 and get a set of DF210s or something reputable. Is $60 really worth screwing up your suspension?

i have bought practically everything for my car through ebay and i havent had a single problem. you just gotta know who to trust and read the FEEDBACK, thats esential in choosing the person who you are going to buy from. Ebay can be tricky just make sure you talk to the seller, look at pictures, and READ THE FEEDBACK!!!

Considering the very important role springs play in cornering, braking, etc... do not go cheap. Look at the pics. The front and rear springs should not look the same. They should have some dead coils, and I always hesitate to buy anything that does not list a brand or manufacturer.

If you don't care much about everyday comfort (but the xb isn't that comfortable anyways out of the dealership) and want a stiffer ride, go with the megan racing..

I got mine from the user SalesUpscaleAuto .... through a group buy on here a few months ago for about 120 shipped.
You may want to PM him.

I think i got a good deal and i like the way the xb handles now, now i just need some koni yellows.

Hmm hey jpaulette ... the suspension isn't screwed up, but if it is improperly installed then you know the deal.

I just recieved the springs I ordered off ebay from seller "autosquare" Have not had a chance to install yet but will post pics and feedback afterwards. These springs have the TEIN logo on the rubber spring wrap and the part # on the actual spring matches TEIN. Alot of ebay sellers deal with products that were not up to original manufacturers quality standards. For example my springs have a couple little nicks in the green paint (or powder coat, whatever it is), you wouldnt want to spend full price to TEIN and recieve nicked up springs. So manufacturers pass products onto wholesalers and what not.

The TENZO-LOWERING-SPRINGS were recommended by some pne here who bought them from that same Ebay Seller. So he seems legit. I just bought them from that seller. They are also really great drop for the xB.

Just to update you I had my Tenzo springs installed today. Really great springs. The drop looks great and the drive it very smooth compared to what I had heard.
