And you'll feel more bumps in the winter since the shock oil thickens in the cold weather. The rubber in the tires and suspension bushings also get less compliant at lower temps. I noticed the firmer ride in my xB once it got below the mid 40's or so.

the best thing to not feel any bumps is to get a front strut bar
i put one on the new box after 50miles and boy oh boy box now rides a little better than before and next on the list is a rear sway bar

Energy Suspension front endlink bushings will help a lot as well. Read the threads on them for more info.

front underbrace helps ,

softer springs aka the vast majoirty of 2 inch drop spirngs , as well as the monroe rear shock. as well as higher profile tires.

Start with the easy stuff- check the tire pressure. Should be 29 psi cold for stock wheeks and tires, as per the sticker on the driver's door rocker panel.

Mine had been overinflated to 35 psi when the aftermarket rims were installed, made my box ride like a little lumber truck...
