front and rear sway bars

front and rear sway bars
ok so im about to invest in a full set, front and rear w/ end links.
my question is what other cars have the same as ours.
ive seen some of us run a rear sway bar from the Echo, will the front sway bar fit also.
it just seams that olot of compainies dont make parts specificly for our xBs.
i realy like Suspension Technics, i saw a write up in this months Super Street that they were doing an install with alot of suspension stuff.
ive got there phone #, i just havent called them yet.
i wanted to know what other cars i could ask for befor i called them.
anyone got any info?

hotchkins is one option, but its hollow.
i got ahold of Suspension Technics, they don't make a front swaybar (because they said its not needed and in some setups they recomend removing the stock front)
they refured me to Summit (they didn't have any in stock yet.
& Jeggs. Jeggs said its 11/16 solid direct bolt addon like the TRD and like $180 but it would take 4 weeks to ship.
im gona take thease guys advice and not mess with the front bar.

Just get the rear bar and upgrade the front sway bar bushings. On a FF car you will loose out on some of the handling if you over stiffen the front end you need the front wheels to stay on the ground in the twistys if it is too stiff the inside will just lift causing wheel spin.

Don't be afraid to stop there.
Upgrading the swaybar bushings (for the actual bar, not just the links), the end links, control arm, trailing arm bushings are all worth replacing.
Not to mention a good set of fully adjustable coilovers, little underbody bracing, and great tires.
The Whiteline bar is the bar that works from the echo for our cars. It connects to the rear shock mounts. Some say that's better, some not. I haven't run a whiteline bar, so I couldn't tell you. I do however run a Progress rear bar. Had my personal opinion on it, is it will make the front end push at high cornering speeds. Which isn't a big deal. Just will surprise you the first couple of times. I did a write up on my build on clubxb and I think here too. Project On Rails or something like that should be the title.

The Energy endlink kit (^ Above a few ^) comes with the bushings as well which is a bonus as alot of people have been doing the generic parts store & home depot endlink upgrade. You are spot on on the progress handling on normal corners and around town it feels like stock but when cranked over it holds the rear end flat! Different but good and has to be felt!
