I have the Tanabe's on my lava (DF210's).
I love them cuz of the drop and cuz they're
made in Japan, not unlike those cheap ___ goldlines!
that are made in the U.S.
I would rather PAY extra for the Tanabe's than have those
goldlines on my car!!

TANABE, the premier suspension, chassis, and exhaust tuner!!!

ok there thats why goldlines cost more than tanabes, but what ever, both are a 2" drop tanabes are more drop after time because of quality, but i like my goldlines i should call them godlines cuz they are god, would recomend them, but its all aboutpreference..........

well, I guess I can say that RS*Rs are better than tanabe because they are built in japan as well and have better cornering than tanabe. Better ride quality too and will not sag like tanabe. But I would still have the goldlines than the tanabe anyday.

I guess your own "buttometer" would be the decisive factor. I've ridden in an xB w/ Goldlines, and thought they were nice. I have to ride in an xB w/ Tanabes.

Even though one company is based overseas, where as another company is stateside, it may not make a difference if they are being made in the same factory. I don't know where Goldlines are made, but I do know the owners were head engineers for another well known and respected spring manufacturer.

Is the "other" manufacturer unmentionable?

Now wouldn't it be funny if all of the springs were made at the same factory in Europe, just painted a different color and used a different setting!

Sorry folks, but if you're going to start getting abusive over springs, it's time for this thread to get locked.
