"Good Handling" Air Suspension

"Good Handling" Air Suspension
Is there any such thing? Air ride really appeals to me because I can adjust my ride height, but I want my box to handle competently.
Unfortunately, I can't really justify lowering my box on springs because I live in PA. The roads where I live are so terrible that I'd lose my bumpers in under 10 miles.
Air Ride would really be a better solution because then I could get low on a smooth road, or stand up on the back roads and in driveways.
Is possible to have air ride and still have good (or even better, great) handling?

Maybe I'm not asking my question properly. Yes, ride quality is very important, but is it possible to have Air Suspension and still have the box feeling like stiffer, more track-like?
I want adjustable ride height and I want to corner like mad! I want both!

Yea air would be a great solution. I mean air is great and all however I would really like to see how a coil bag suspension would ride. It seems like it would be the best of both worlds.

ive always been told that air isnt good for performance aps because the bags cant handle hard cornering / breacking.
ive never had a set of my own so.
Gothbox and Randode would know for sure.
Big_hungry you got air too don't you?

no i don't have air. i'm still on coilovers. I wanting on some type of coilover to come out with on the fly height adjustment! Thats why I would love to have a coilover with some sort of air bag or something on it to adjust on teh fly. I could actually get in and out of my driveway without almost dragging off my bumper for once if i had something like that

Found it. I wonder if they are making for other vehicles yet? may be worth checking into.

Woah. I left for the weekend, came back and there's 18 replies to my thread! lol
I'm interested in learning more about the air bag + coilover solution.... what would we do for the rear then? Or would it just be OK with air bags in the rear?
EDIT: What about on-the-fly adjustable dampeners (shocks)?
