say oem on shock type. oem tokico and aftermarket tokico will be valved differently most likely.

just get lowering springs. You'll end up being alot happier with the quality and the ride.

It was a ugly ride and it wasnt even that low....
The camber was real bad......A camber kit fixed that...
It made all types of strange noises and the car was new.....
Sometimes it would mak a poppin noise...
I have a gsR with a cheap set of coilovers such as the GC but mine are
maxspeed and I was lower than his and I had a better ride...
But my perches, i think there called, are locked tightly together.....
I cant seem to break them.......

coilover kits in my eyes are trash........either do it right or jus dont do it.....
Thats why on my box I just got springs...no hassle....
But either Im going to now get a full coilover set up or bags.....
lemme see....with the trd spring i got from the dealer and the df 210s I have now,
$200 more dollars or so and I could have a tein set up........

thanks gsr... ive given the gc alot of thought and did alot of research and its not as great as it seems, i do know people with them on but not on an xb. ive decided on tanabe coilovers... might as well dish out the cash for something that is better in design but for now im going to stick with the df210s.

GC coils are basically universal Eibach springs with a high spring rate (even higher when you adjust for a lower setting) They're great for track and autocross, but ride very harsh on street.

DF210s are a good set of springs of you're looking for the biggest drop, but again you sacrifice a lot of comfort. The rear has many dead coils.

My recommendation is Tein S-techs. A good balance between ride height and comfort, though still harsh as with all performance springs.

i do have the df210s... but i need to be able to adjust the height because im running 15x8 with 15mm spacers on the rear and im getting alot of rubbing (when pople are riding on the back) or when i run thru a big dip/bump. thought the gc will do but i would still have to change the shocks eventually so im just going to go with coilovers
