HELP HELP! can decide between TEIN basic or Tein ss
i dont really know much about cars, so i really need a lot of help i now have the money for coilovers, so i was thinking abuot going with teins but couldnt decide on the basics or the superstreet. can someone tell the difference about the both? or would i be better off with springs and buying shocks?

How low do you want to go?
If you just want to moderately lower it and have comfortable ride, TEINs are a good choice.
If you really want them to go low, I would look into a different brand, TEINs dont go as low as other brands like HKS, K-Sport, Cusco, etc.

well i just wanted to remove to gap between the tire and fender. i know i can do that with drop springs, but i was thinking if i get coilovers than the ride would feel smooth and on top o that i wouldnt have any problems. what do you have on your car?

I went from goldline springs, to k-sport coilovers, and I know have air.
If you have the cash, I really would go with the coils over the springs. It is nice to have the add adjustability and strut and shocks designed for the lowered stance.
However, if you really just want to get rid of some fender gap and have a comfortable ride, I would just go with the basics. I think the SS are probably a little overkill for this, true they have dampening in the rear. But your arent really slamming the car, and teins ride really nice. Moreover, the SS have camber plates, but if you arent really running crazy wheel specs you dont really care.
I would go with the basics. They will still give you the comfortable ride you want, and you can save some cash for other mods.
