Any feedback on the hotchkis springs and sway bars? Their stuff is usually nice but haven't seen alot about it here. Any pics of cars with it? Thanks!

The sway bars are worth it! The box turns like a much lower car even with the stock wheels and suspension! I can only imagine what the swaybars with the tower brace would feel like but, the sway bars are awesome!

Teddy,

I actually got it installed after the fact with Verone and crew at Longo Scion and, it is a serious thing to install. You have to separate the bofy frame from the body/engine to get the swaybars in between them and also do a total re-align (as I understand it!) My baby box was up on the Longo rack for almost five hours with the guys getting back under there more than once to get the alignment tracking just right.

After the ordeal I was rewarded with improved feel and better response with the road, awesome cornering and excellent (IMHO) handling of curves at speed. Literally, the car feels like it is sitting flat as it corners and turns with everything else still being stock...

The deal I got was $315.00 installed and was worth it to me for the service. It sounds like you guys have some great hook-ups up north there with other ScionLife members so you might be able to get them installed at even better cost, but I think it was worth it. I hope I can see what it will be like with better tires...Alfred

can scions take a lower tie bar? (maybe a stupid question, but i don't see them offered anywhere, and i don't really see how it'd fit if there was one) and any other companies besides hotchkis make sway bars? found them on optauto.com for 185 if anyones looking for them.

I plan on getting the lower bars and putting a powder coat of the Hot lava paint on them, that is on my HUGE list of things to do!!!

i'm having my bars installed tomorrow. I'll let you know how well they work... I'll take pics if I can get to it while it's still on the lift.
Is this a record for fastest Scion modified? I bought it a week ago yesterday,
VIS carbon fiber hood and wing, sprint springs, hotchkis strut and sway bars, sparco pedals and ****. Borla Dual exhaust!

hotchkis makes good products. the only bad thing i have seen is the strut bar that has gotten stress cracks in the finish.

OK, got the bars done today.... They are badd ___. It doesn't corner as well as my track car, but... for a box on wheels it's better then I could of exptcted. Even on factory tires. The body roll is cut down to almost nothing. BUY THESE. The install sucks, but is well worth it!
