Out with the old

In with the new

Rear (not set like that. Have a little bit to go before they are set as low as they can go)

Front

Rear

I am definetly going to dump the rear all the way down. I was being a bit conservative to get a feel. Corners nice!

Yea why not drop the rear all the way. Before you do that, replace those rear dampers for much shorter ones, I bet you are hitting your bumpstops frequently right now.

Well, I lug a lot of my music equipment around and didn't want the rear to sag to much when fully loaded. I was being a bit conservative, but yea....they are goind down all the way as soon as I get a chance.

987KEITH - I thought I read somewhere that this shock was a bit to soft to support an aggressive coilover set up. I take it you have had no issues with these? I actually have a set of TRD Waydo rear shocks I was thinking of installing.

burstaneurysm - I should just IM you everytime I switch something up

Persocon - I know that with the stock ones on I am losing stroke by sitting that much lower, but I have not completely bottomed out......well, yet anyway. Do the rears even have bump stops?

Thanks for the comments.

Matt - The shocks are a bit soft for "track" use with these, but on the streets they ride very nice. The TRD/Waydo stuff would be a great option... I just didn't want to spend more than $50 for the pair haha.

So Far I'm happy, I still need to drive the car more to let everything break in.

Keith

I know there are more versatile coilovers on the market, but so far I'm loving this set up.

I know someone mentioned in your thread that these have a tendency to rust. Keep me posted on your experience with this.

the rear shock bumpstops are one piece with the shock dust cover. Even my Tein Basic rear shocks came with their own bumpstops.

So the Progress setup only comes with replacement front struts? I wonder why that is...

Maybe since they designed the front struts with no dampening adjustability, they figured there were enough aftermarket options for rear that they may as well save money on production costs????? I could be way off, Just sayin.

BTW, my wife hates these things, but....such as life.

I ended up cranking the rear all the way down and put the front about another 2 turns closer to pavement. I love the adjustability of coilovers man. Anyway.........spotted rust and these things have only seen two rain storms.

What can you do.................
