Default Koni Aftermarket Shocks - Soon!!!

I just got my xB back from Koni and I now have a full set on my xB, and the tC will be confirmed next week.

They are the traditional Koni "yellows" as most people know them as, and they are the adjustable kind.

I have them in conjunction with the Goldline springs, and no rubbing at all. Everything is set how the Toyota Echo Cup in Canada has theirs set. The people I've been working with @ Koni definately know their product.

Will provide pics later this weekend.

Finally another aftermarket shock out in the market besides TRD

I've searched here before and found people running Konis for Echos, direct fit. Are these any different, maybe a change in dampening? I also hope they might have added adjustable lower spring perches for the front struts (if physically possible) like the ones I had on a Honda.
Any idea how soon these "xB-specific" Konis will be available to retailers?

They've recently had a Scion to physically test, before they never had it.

I believe if all goes well you should see them within 4 months for the xA/xB and bout 6 months for the tC. Possibly sooner.

Also correct was the basic design is that of the echo, they weren't sure if when it came over here to the USA if anything seated differently than the USDM echo vs. the JDM bB.

I was totally planning on Koni Yellow. I use the yellows on all my Porsches and it
only made sense to do them on the box!

Can you tell me what models of shocks they installed for you and how much? I'm
looking to upgrade mine in a couple of months, and I'd like to be prepared!

Oh yeah, I'm on Goldline as well!

I have Koni Yellows on my xA right now for an Echo application. I got my front and rear set for a little over $500.

Some people don't want to adjust ride height ... I am happy with a 1.2" drop ... I just want adjustable shocks so I can change the damper rate! AND a GOOD, REAL coilover kit goes for about $900 and up ....

yeah i'm in the same boat as Lava... I don't care about changing ride height... but i would like to have dampening adjustments...

500+150+shipping makes about... 700 for good springs and adjustable dampers... coilovers that let you do the same thing are like 1000+ at least

however that said 500 is a bit high for me too... i would prefer something cheaper definately

yeah but koni's plus springs is about 700 without adjustable height . I know some poeple dont need adjustable height but for only 200-500 more wouldnt it be worth it ? i mean shoot 700 is alot but for soo much more adjustability ..... that might just be me tho. either way cool beans guys.

I was gonna say . are the part numbers the same ? hmm maybe they slightly changed valving? either way , watch the xa/xb ones be more than the identical echo ones.

If you give it sometime the price will go down ... I don't want to adjust the ride height, so Ill pay the $500 just for the shocks ... I know there are gonna be PLENTY of people who feel the same way ... Not everyone wants to adjust height, they just want to adjust the damper rate!
