Default Ksport owners HELP ME!

Ok guys ive already done a search and found some Ksport sales on here but untill today i have never heard of them but the discription makes these babies sound like the M.O.A coilovers. As I am a noob in suspension can someone fill me in on a nice coilover tech thread also.

They offer a
• Drop: 0"- 4"
• Spring Rates: Front 6/336 Rear 3/168
• 36-Way Adjustable dampening
• Adjustable spring perch for height adjustment
• Adjustable body allowing maximum suspension travel
• Pillow Ball Top Mount w/ Adjustable Camber
• Monotube high pressure design
• One Year Limited Warranty

Whats the deal??? Ride info, does it do all it says it can do and does it do it well???

They are designed for motorsports use.

Pillow Ball = more harsh ride
Spring Rate of 6 in the front = more harsh ride

If you are looking for comfort.. this is NOT it. If you are looking to do some hot laps in your xB.. well here you go. Otherwise, expect you teeth to rattle a bit.

Good luck

WAY too stiff of a spring rate for the front. These are a copy of D2 coilovers. You should just run D2s if you want something like this, the set I have has a 4kg spring in the front and rides stiff. I couldnt imagine a 6kg spring in there.

My D2's will be for sale soon if you are interested.

alright i've had these on my box for a few months now and im dropped to the MAX.

if you want comfort. do not..i repeat DO NOT GET THESE!!!!

this are straight up performance at its finest. they are stiff as you can imagine. you will hold the road untill traction control applies the brakes for you (which is very annoying...someone tell me how to disable it please!)

they are an ease to install and an ease to use. anyother questions ask away.

dropped to teh max the front lip would be on or below the ground, that's if you had like 14's with lo pros so as to not have tire interferrence issues

It doesn't appear that your XB has a balanced setup. Super stiff front springs reduce roll like adding a front sway bar. If you don't balance this stiff front out with a rear sway bar, camber, or other understeer reducing technique, the car will loose front end grip.

but the thing is...i still have plenty of grip....i can accelerate through the turn and while im accelerating T/C starts beeping at me and then ultimately slows me down. my tires arnt even squeeling yet.

i havn't got around to getting a rear sway bar yet only because i really dont care until i actually have wheels :-p

Actually a good time to balance your car is with lousy tires. You can feel very easily where you are loosing grip at much lower, safer speeds. After getting the car balanced, you should be all the better with grippy tires. Of course the different tires/wheels may require small adjustments, but not much.

You don't want to find out you have a lot of oversteer with grippy tires. You may find yourself in a ditch.

Me neither.

25 mph exit ramps = 70mph worth of fun.
