Damn that sucks, I am glad you didn't loose it too. I lost one of mine doing 70...with short shocks it was a crazy ride until i could get pulled off the road. If you decide to put them back on...get rid of the 2 bottoms screws in so that the bags can shift in the spring seat. That seems to have made the difference in mine.

Ive got an extra bag sitting here just havent put it in yet.. Im going to call them first and see what ES will do first.. Im going to try what spider said and leave the botom bolts out see what that does and also see what ES will do as far as replacement or refund. Im going to go with the fbi kit more then likely..

The only thing you have to watch is jacking up the car. Since the bag can popout of the seat, when you set the can back down you have to make sure everything stays where it belong as you lower it back down....but since the fitting goes through the center its pretty easy. I still think that the design is bad for a sleave bag. it really should have been a regualr bag.

Just had a talk with Brian @ Easy Street and Told him of the situation.. he told me that they had problems with the pressure ring coming loose but they have corrected it in a newly designed bag and he told me they have been testing around 400-450 psi and were not able to pop them.. He is sending me two brand new ones and We will give them A go..

This will be the last strike if these dont work..

I don't think its a pressure problem. When you lift your car look at the bags. The top is twisted to the front of the car because our suspension travels in an arch. This causes them to stress the very back part of the bag. I'd bet money that hole in your bag was facing the back of the car when it let loose. But I have to call this morning too since I think my compressor is dieing now. So I get to talk to them too.

Just curious as to why you are using a sleeve bag instaed of the donut bags? I know back in the day I had a lowered full size chevy and i ran sleeved bags, they gave out so damn quick.

My buddy was having the same problems with Easystreet. He finally just switched them out for pancake style bags from Slam Specialaties and hasn't had a problem since.

its because thats what easy street uses for there mounts..

I would love to use regular bellowed style bags..

Im going to give ES one more try.. He told me theyve found the problem with them and they were running 400+ psi to them without blowing so who knows Im willing to give it atry as long as there willing to fork over free bags to try it with..

Ill let everyone know how it works..

FBI makes mounts for a 2500lb bag... a lot less hassle.
