Default least expensive coilovers

i don't care about adjustability, as long as they have stiff rates.

what is the least expensive coilover for an xA? when i searched i didn't find price comparisons. sorry if this is a repost.

The cheapest I have seen would be the Tanabe Pro S-OC Type 2 Coil Overs. The cheapest place I have found them, would be from here http://scionsport.com/store/product_...6345095172be6e

AFAIK, I think most of the non-adjustable coilovers are comfort oriented and mostly for looks. If you don't need adjustability and just want it stiff, maybe you just need springs and shocks? There's a thread that lists all the spring rates, and you could just get TRD or Koni shocks....

There are some on Ebay for under $100. Just go to Ebay and type Scion xB then click on the buy now tab, just look for a few pages and you'll find them. I'm pretty sure they're POS but there the cheapest.

if your gonna go with coil overs...go with some good ones...tein,tanabe, etc...not that cheap garbage "universal" coilover that fit everything in the road...

some ebay coilovers are generic and it won't fit on the front struts of an xa or xb because of the oversized shock retainer collar on the front struts. You can mount it upside down but it defeats the adjustability because the adjusting tool will have no room at the top of the strut. Expect a lot of clattering sound from the spring slack and lack of bushings on the kit.

The back is somewhat trickier because the spring arcs when you jack up the car and it just dislodges the coilovers from the mounts

actually you can mount them up front. you remove the brass dust cap up front and bam. no clattering up front. nice stiff ride. i loved it. the rears are a pain since the springs are straigt. i wouldnt mind just getting a rear coilover setup from somebody but yeah. i'm on chopped up ghetto celica springs now but i'm low and they were free.
