i am interested in getting a lower arm bars (type 1 and/or 2)for my xb.

i know cusco, jic and c-one make them. (anyone else?)

i am wondering how many of you have them and which one?
what do think of them?
where did you get it? (i can't find to many sellers for these)

i have seen some posts for one or the other but nothing for comparing all of them together.

What's a "lower arm bar"? Do you mean a subframe brace? If so, there is no real difference in any of them as long as they are suffeciently sturdy. I welded up my own with better triangulation than any production piece out there. It adds a little to the handling at the limit but nothing unless you really push the car hard.

You can see my sub frame brace at http://myspot.neteze.com/~kdanielson and click on the Scion page and scroll to the bottom.

I finally saw a decent pic of the C-one rear bar set up. I'm not too impressed, it will give a little support to the rear torsion beam pivot points and is better than nothing but I don't think it's much for the $$ they want. To do it correctly would require some minor welding to the chassis.

What these cars really need is urethane bushings for the torsion beam pivots. I can corner my xA hard enough to deflect them and get a wierd rear steer sensation.... very spooky feeling.

A rear upper strut bar would be a help too if it was correctly designed.
