The stock endlink bushing are crap. The thicker urethane bushings are supposedly great. I haven't personally done it yet, but people swear by em.

^x2, i noticed the difference with the endlink bushings on.. im actually quite suprised they arent offered with the Swaybar, cause its really needed..

i got the Black ones (poly-graphite),, the red ones (like all red bushings from energy) tend to squeek.

Auto Zone carries the red ones for like 15 bucks. They come with all the washers and you only need 2- 3" bolts and nylock nuts to install. Be sure to use some white lithium grease so they won't squeek later.

I got tired of renting them so I just bought a new set for 35 bucks from AZ. They work real nice and now I'll have them for whenever someone stops by to get some springs installed.
LMAO me too I just kept them last time..since I have done them 3 times...

I was gonna do that but the rentals were the same price as new and they were heavily abused.

spring compressor is not needed i used the highest spring rate springs and it was fairly easy to compress them to get the top hats on and getting the oem springs out was smooth with out any real kick but its up to you ! good luck and my bushings havent squeaked yet but maybe with some time LOL well good luck

Please Mike, It may not be needed to take out the stock springs but good luck re-installing them without one of these bad boys.
How many times have you installed stock springs back in without this? Inquiring mind want to know?
It's needed while installing the stock springs back onto new struts. It's just cheap insurance and makes the job go much smoother.

Hell yes it is... it's just not fun without it... you can do lowering springs without it, but going back to stock without one... uh, have fun with that!

On the Hotchkis spring they were fine before they settled. Afterward I had to drive up on 2X6s to get my floor jack under it. I also got tired of wondering which roadkill would clear my front lip. Plus I used to take it up north during the winter so the stockers went back on each time for that. Now I just prefer the taller stance and not worried about what others think I should do anymore. I also still do spring swaps for other people so the 35 bucks spent on the compressors is not going to waste.
I too am currently de-modding my box slightly. There are times I wish my box looked plain and blended in more like other stock boxes but I soon overcome those feelings when I get my next compliment.

I almost threw my stockies back on for winter... I couldn't do it though, not physically, but I don't wanna go stock height again! It just makes the winter more exciting... not knowing if I'm gonna tear my lip off leaving the garage...

Make it a chalkboard finish. It's so much fun drawing on xBs then erasing it and drawing something else.
