regarding the TEINs, i was under the impression that the h-techs only marginally lower than trd fronts, (1.1") and not as low in the rear (0.9")

as far as the S-techs, 1.7"/1.5" f/r, is that correct?

 

I trust Goldline springs myself. 2" drop...perfect. No sag in the rear.

 

Good ratings : choose "Goldlines" Made in the USA. lifetime warranty. I believe the other brands don't have a warranty. Reason: they would need to be returned back to the manufacturer in a foreign country, not the seller + which would be costly to ship back and forth, not to mention waiting time and direct phone communication problems. Go with Goldlines, for $165.00 and exellent quality you can't go wrong. The handling is great and even wth caps it looks 100% better.

 

He's right, you cant go wrong with Goldline...the variable spring rate makes for a nice ride and performance when needed.

My question would be what size rims do you have and you sure you want a 2" drop. I had major wheel gap and got Tein H techs and it dropped it more than i thought it would. So you are gonna drop it pretty low if you do 2'',(speed bumps and potholes will be your enemies, LoL) so i would defiantley check out some pics of people's rides that have 2" drop and make sure you want it that low. Just my two cents.

I love the Tanabe NF210's, not too much of a drop, but still looks great!

 

It's all a matter of opinion I suppose. I can say this much though, after seeing jgriff63's xA (nice ride). The xB and the xA look much better with the same amount of space around the tire and the fender(top and sides). Like I said in the prior post $165.00 you can't go wrong with the Goldlines. I also heard that the Goldlines were a slightly softer ride than the others, which is one thing I wanted. The ride is definatly stiffer than stock and I wouldn't want it any stiffer. But putting it into a corner hard is now a more controled feeling.

 

I just used s-techs on my xB and couldn't be happier. They claim to drop it 1.5/1.7, but every set I've seen (and other members on this forum tend to agree) usually settle around the 2 inch mark. Everyone is saying go with goldlines because they only cost $165. Well, thats the same exact price I paid for my Teins delivered right to my door. Plus the quality is awesome, they have the areas of the spring that would "gronk" wrapped in a sound deadening plastic sheath. I did a lot of research on the site and think that the tanabe df210 or the tein s-techs really seem like the way to go. I have to admit, in the end I went with the Teins because our box is green....
