A guy in my city is selling these 2.5" drop lowering spring. Is the rust too bad for use? Could i cover it with heat-shrink tubing?

Nope. A friend of mine had a pair of the white DF210s... one of the rear springs cracked. He lost 2 coils. Coulda been really bad.

Some surface corrosion is normal, but those are really bad.

I gotta admit... it looks like they came from a car that sat in the flood plains.
