Monroe owner's opinions

Heck, Sears only wanted $39 each, installed when I got 'em (The Sears autocenter here is nice in that they let you into the service area to kibitz - they even let ME drive the box onto and off the lift, etc. In other words I got to watch them do the job right.)

But it's time to loose the OEM Goodyear tires and I would like to do the front struts at the same time. More cost, but only one alignment needed. The Koni struts are SOOOO expensive.
Has anyone tried the Monroe struts in front with Tien-S springs? How about a part number as well.

Mine didn't come out too unlevel. Maybe that's cause i have Tanabe's instead of Teins. And i don't have any rubbing with my 18's ... maybe cause i rubbed everything away already when i had air suspension lol

After driving around with stock height & suspension for a few months and switching to my current setup (back to Tanabe DF210's and now Monroe's all around) I couldn't be happier. I just like being able to hop in the car and drive .. not filling bags and doing a quick check over everything and constantly listening and trying to 'feel' if there's any changes day to day with my suspension. With the bags i had to drop it everytime i parked, so it was a lot of wear and tear. But for the 3-4 months that I had the bags still with all the driving I didn't have any problems.
