My FBI/Slam Specialties Bags Review (56k beware)
#22
On a sleve type bag if you compress it too much it will ruin the bag. Thats whats great about a double convoulted bag like the Slams. The only issue with Slam Specialties bags is the plate where the rubber meets the metal. I have had issues before where that will begin to crack and tear apart. Not good. Overall though, SS bags are great, they handle a lot of pressure, they are stiffer than most bags, and dont expand out like a Firestone or Conitech bag does.
I am still a Firestone kinda guy.
Another thing, i dont understand why the airline has to come out of the bottom of the mount rather than the top. You woud think they could drill a hole in the top of the mount and tell you to use a 90* fitting, but who knows.
Looks good man.
