Yeah I would really appreciate that. Did you put them on yourself or have them professionally installed? Any pics with the bags installed?

If you decide on the STechs, "JSC_Speed" sells them for $149 shipped to SL members. Not bad if you ask me.

I have TRD's and Im debating the switch to STechs...

No not bad at all. The more I think about it the more I start to sway towards these. At that price I would have more money for other mods. I could always bag it later if I felt the need. I'm going to do a little more research/picture looking before I decide one way or the other.

If your really concerned about ride quality I would not lower it more the 1 1/4". I had a set of TRD's and they rode great! The ride was just slightly stiffer then stock. I recently changed to Eibach Sportlines for a 2" drop. They have sagged to about 2 1/4" and now sits lower then my freinds Tanabe DF210's. The ride is firm but it still comfortable but better then the Tanabe's ride quality. You will drag your front lip more but I have not had any isues with tires rubbing. I have 18x7.5 Sportmax 502's with 215x35x18's.

Waynesoffroad,
Just looked at your profile and your xB does look good sittin that low. I can't believe the tires don't rub. That's awesome. Ok one question, can you still listen to your cd player or does it skip alot?

What about Tein BASIC Coilovers? Anyone have any input on these? The reviews seem pretty good.

The CD player has never skiped at all. It still rides really good! I'm just saying that the ride is firm but comfortable. My wheels are only 7.5" wide so I think that helps keep the tires from rubbing. Tirerack.com seems to have the best prices on Eibach springs.

Ok just an update. I have narrowed it down after spending hours on this board reading until my eyes wanted to pop out of my head to two choices.

1. Goldlines

2. Tein S-Techs

Just can't do bags right now. Maybe later.

If I end up getting 17's can I avoid rubbing at full lock. I am not as worried about the skraping cause I have been driving really slow since I got the box for mpg reasons and it doesn't bother me to drive slow. I am wanting to avoid rubbing the tires though. I think I am leaning toward the s-tech's especially for $149 shipped. Will probably make a final decision and order towards the end of the week so any last minute suggestions/comments will be appreciated. Thanks.
