Default one ton garage spacer = _____in' mod!

I just thought I'd post to say what a great, easy to do mod these spacers are.
Like most Box owners, the tucked-in rear wheel look has always bugged me, so I popped for a set of the OTG spacers to slip them out toward the edge of the fender a bit, and more readily match the fronts.
At first I thought the $70 price was a bit steep for what you're getting, but not having the equipment to make a set myself, I coughed up the dough and went for it!
I have to say the parts are real quality stuff, very well made (which makes the price much easier to swallow!) and Van is a great guy to work with; good communication, good, honest info beforehand about his product, and he supplies very clear and concise instructions with the parts.
The paperwork lists installation time at 50 minutes, and it took me about 45, including jacking up the car and removing the wheels. Its a VERY easy install. If you can change spark plugs, you can do this.
I almost bought the double set, but decided to go with just one first to see how it would look, and I'm glad I did, because as low as my car is, I don't have any more outward room! The new offset is just about a perfect match to the front, too.
Here's the pics...

Def a "must do" mod. Too bad the OTGs are only 10mm. I added a set of 1/2 inch ones to make the rears perfectly match the fronts.

No way I could fit those without some major fender rolling.
I actually rubbed the tires for the very first time last night with just me and my 120 lb. wife aboard!

my rims are only 7" wide with a 38mm offset.
yours must be wider.

Nope, same here. BUT, I'm running a fairly big 205/60-15 on the rear.
Look at the views of both our rear tires and you'll see what a difference they make. They look beefy and give me a nice raked stance, but definitely create a fitment shortcoming.

I had the same rubbing issues at first when I was running 215/45/17s with 1.5" drop and the OTG spacers. Now that I have the right size tires the rubbing is gone.

What size did you go with? I've been playing around with the idea of going with a set of 17s, and was thinking 215/40-17 or even 205/40-17...

205/40/17 is ideal with the spacers but 215/40 should be fine too. I'm running 215/35/18 with zero rubbing.

Very good mod, but i cant run them with my normal tires. I have 16x7 with a 35 offset, but using 205/55 rubber which causes rubbing. But when i go racing and swap for the 15" wheels then those spacers make a huge difference. They actually slightly help the car when cornering hard.
