Funny how camber is the "IN" mod now.

Remember when we first started running it back in January/February, peeps said it didn't look good and that tire wear was going to be terrible.

Mark,

Yeah, I remember saying how a few things worked and didn't work, and I ALWAYS got contradicted. Then someone else would come along a few months later and post the same info I had previously posted, and all of a sudden it was all good!?!

Oh well, the next few months will be a welcomed break, and who knows if I'll come back then or not.

As someone similarly states, I'm just going to roll for myself and what makes me happy.

I'm tired of giving helpful advise, trying to save peeps some of their hard earned money, and then having someone who claims to be an "expert" contradict it. Especially some newb who hasn't even done any R&D, let alone wrench on their own car.

Hey now...We have seen what happens when I pick up a wrench. Last time I swapped my headlights I ended up with a bracket attached to nothing.

Mark the camber looks great. I hope the places I PM'd you helped a little in finding the Cuscos.

Brad, i know what you mean. Thats how Forums work. EVERYONE IS AN EXPERT ON THE INTERNET!! Somehow people that are lacking confidence in real life, think they can make up for it by talking down to people on forums. Its funny because i dedicated about a year of school in studying the lifestyle affects of the internet, mostly forums, for psychology classes. It was basically a research project that was pretty fun. hahaha.

The ironic thing about it is the people that talk all big in forums are actually quite opposite when you meet them in real life. hahaha. OF COURSE there are exceptions. This is not directed towards anyone on this particular forum. This is just something i've observed over the years from about 50+ forums. Not all of them being automobile related either.

Thanks again guys!!!!!

Dewmerz- I actualy contacted an old sponsor of mine and they were able to get them for me. Thanks for the heads up though.

ps- sorry for the little vent, but i figured some people should be in the know. heh

Mark, box looks great!! I like the black on black look a lot. Also the white box looks pretty cool, I think some people like you guys could really have use for these plates but in general, I think camber plates on scions are becoming played out, I mean let’s count how many cars actually have use for these. I bet they are less than 6 cars but I guess “to each his own” is the word here. By the way if any one interested in my 10 degree plates let me, I took of my rear cambers about month ago, Take care All Sean

scion619, my box is driven daily when I'm not in pain, but reconstructive surgery on the elbow will take care of that shortly. Its been driven down to SoCal numerous times in its present state. As much as 5 times within 2 months recently.

Brian, you know I wasn't referring to you. You're the one I go to to re-analyze something I already thought thru to make sure I didn't forget anything.

Mine is a daily driver. Tire wear is not too bad when i was running my old setup with my 15's. I was also running 3 degrees then. I was trying not too have to run camber on my current setup but i could not pull the fenders out anymore without causing major damage to the fenders. I also did not want to raise my car so i had to run camber. I guess its just the "Cost to Floss!" HAHAHAHAHA

Dang mark, I didn't know that we were supposed to post up about Vans camber plates.

I was told not to say anything but oh well. :D Here is my pic:

There are only 5 camber plates out there so far and of course the Op8r got the first set. :D I was there when Van was installing them. I have a daily driver as well and I still love my camber. :D
